Dr. Jason Myers

Dr. Myers is the president and founder of MembersHealth Medical Center. He is certified by the Board of Osteopathic Medicine with a specialty in Family Practice. While his medical degree was attained from the Michigan State University Osteopathic School of Medicine, he also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Aquinas College. Dr. Myers completed his Family Medicine training at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Upon completion of this training, he served 3 years of active duty as a medical officer in the United States Navy.

He is active in continuing education and is a current member of the following professional organizations: American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Physicians, and American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Myers is an affiliate physician of Munson Medical Center.

Dr. Myers is also Medical Director of Defy Aesthetic Club where he is active in evaluation and treatment of skin problems. Dr. Myers is a nationally recognized expert and speaker on aesthetic and laser medicine. He regularly delivers conferences for Candela Laser Corporation throughout the country. Dr. Myers is a member of American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the International Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine.

Dr. Lorah Wright

Dr. Wright is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice. After graduating from Wittenberg University in Ohio with a B.A. in biology, Dr. Wright worked for 16 years as a laboratory technologist in Ohio and Michigan. She then went to medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her training at the former Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital in Traverse City, Michigan. She has practiced family medicine in Traverse City since 1991.

Dr. Wright has extensive medical experience and thoroughly enjoys the practice of medicine and patient care. She provides comprehensive care for all ages and has special interest in women's health, preventative care and osteopathic manipulation.

She is active in continuing education and is a current member of the following professional organizations: American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. A proud affiliate of Munson Medical Center, she is also an avid community supporter.

Kirsten W. Schmitt, MMS, PA-C

Kirsten has been a physician assistant for the past ten years and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She graduated with a biology degree from Michigan State University in 1992 and worked for a short time in an environmental lab. She then pursued her medical career as a P.A. and attended Midwestern University (formerly the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine), where she also received her masters in medical science. Previously with Munson, she joined Bay Point Family Care & Laser Skin Clinic in 2004 enjoying family practice and managing the laser skin clinic.

As a physician assistant, Kirsten is able to treat patients with long standing health issues as well as more immediate concerns and illnesses. She is available for yearly physicals of any age range and is able to perform minor in-office procedures.

Kirsten grew up in Traverse City and is now happy to be working and raising two sons with husband Todd in the area. She is active in continuing education for general medicine and laser aesthetic medicine, and is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants.
